I am a Computer Science student at the University of Macedonia, passionate about web development. My main focus is on Frontend Development using modern technologies, while also expanding my expertise in Java programming. Beyond my academic journey, I am gaining real-world experience by working as a part-time barista, balancing my studies with hands-on teamwork and customer service. This experience has helped me develop problem-solving, multitasking, and communication skills, which I apply in both tech and real-world environments. I am always eager to learn new technologies, take on challenges, and contribute to innovative projects. My goal is to grow as a developer and build engaging, efficient, and scalable applications.
Worked as a bar service staff, providing high-quality customer service, preparing drinks, and ensuring a well-maintained bar environment.
Seasonal barmen role at a high-traffic summer venue, responsible for cocktail preparation, customer engagement, and bar stock management.
Currently working as a barista, specializing in coffee preparation, customer service, and maintaining a high-quality café experience.
Below are some of my featured works with brief descriptions.
This project is a communication analysis application that allows users to search for suspects and view their phone contacts, associates, and exchanged messages. Users can look up a suspect by name and access details such as phone calls, SMS records, known associates, and suggested connections. The system tracks communications between suspects and helps identify relationships based on their phone interactions.🚀
This project is a decentralized crowdfunding DApp that allows users to create and support fundraising campaigns through Ethereum smart contracts. Users can launch campaigns, set a funding goal, and receive contributions from backers. Supporters can pledge funds, and if the campaign meets its goal, the funds are released to the creator; otherwise, contributors can withdraw their pledges. The platform is built using Solidity for the smart contract, Hardhat for local blockchain development, React.js for the front-end, and Web3.js for blockchain interaction. Users connect their MetaMask wallets to interact with the platform, making the process secure, transparent, and decentralized. 🚀
This project analyzes a political blog network using graph theory and network analysis. It applies PageRank and HITS algorithms to evaluate the influence of blogs based on their connections. Different ranking variations, such as category-based PageRank (favoring same-category links) and reciprocal PageRank (giving more weight to bidirectional links), are explored. The analysis reveals that while conservative blogs tend to rank higher in PageRank, liberal blogs dominate in authority scores. The results suggest that the network follows a scale-free structure, where a few highly connected blogs hold most of the influence. 🚀
Below are some of the certifications I have achieved along my professional journey.
I have a good understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, which allows me to create simple and functional websites. I can design responsive pages using CSS Flexbox, Grid, and media queries to make sure they work well on all devices. With JavaScript, I can add basic interactivity, such as handling user actions and updating content on a webpage. While I’m still learning, I can build well-structured websites and improve them with styling and dynamic elements.
I have completed a Java Developer course, gaining a solid understanding of Java programming, object-oriented principles, and application development. I learned how to work with Java syntax, classes, inheritance, and exception handling, as well as how to build applications using file handling, databases, and multithreading. While I am still improving, I can develop structured and functional Java programs, and I am eager to continue learning and expanding my skills.
I have developed problem-solving skills through coding and logical thinking. I can analyze challenges, break them into smaller steps, and find efficient solutions using algorithms and programming concepts. I enjoy tackling problems in Java, JavaScript, and web development, improving my ability to think critically and debug effectively. While I continue to learn, I am confident in solving technical issues and optimizing my code for better performance.
